Beginning with the 0-4 away win against Ascot Utd on the 19th September, Vale have extended their winning streak to four games, leapfrogging other teams to sit in 3rd place in the table and level on points with Jersey Bulls, who are 2nd in the league on goal difference.

There was a magnificent home win against one of the highflying sides Winchester City, with Vale clinging on to the 2-1 lead, after goalkeeper Faebian Witter's red card and Tobi Ogundega stepped into the breach and literally saved the day.

An injury time away win at Littlehampton Town, Jordan Akono Billongo's headed goal secured the points.

Tuesday evening's 2-1 defeat of Harrow Borough, with goals from defenders Mo Kamara and Omarr Lawson, was another demanding game against a Harrow team who's table position does little justice to what a good side they are, with their number 10 Adam Kolli causing problems (a name to look out for). Vale manager Hayden Bird summed up the team's performance as one of 'resilience, robustness and togetherness'.

On Saturday Raynes Park Vale face Isthmian League newcomers AFC Stoneham, who travel up from Hampshire, The Purples will be searching for their first league win of the season and will be desperate to climb out of the relegation zone, so the game could prove to be another tough challenge for The Vale.
